ART SERVICES

COMMISSIONED / CUSTOM ART WORK

“I specialise in creating unique commissioned artworks that capture personal stories. Working in watercolour and acrylic, I offer two styles: delicate, representational pieces from photographs, and bold, contemporary abstracts. My watercolours reflect the emotion of subjects—weddings, pets, portraits, or landscapes—while my acrylics are tailored to spaces and styles. Clients collaborate on size, palette, and mood, ensuring each piece is striking and personal. Whether celebrating a milestone, honouring a loved one, or adding a centrepiece to your home, my aim is to craft art that resonates and becomes truly meaningful.”

SCHOOL ART PROJECTS : TAP TRAINED ARTIST FOR COUNTY KERRY

Teacher-Artist Partnership (TAP) is a unique Department of Education and Skills initiative for supporting and enhancing arts in education. For the last six years, I have delivered a wide range of artistic projects, TAP and BLAST, in both primary and post-primary schools across County Kerry. The program is a fully funded initiative in which participating teachers and artists collaborate and work together in order to deliver a creative school project from start to finish across the academic year. These creative projects are made possible thanks to funding and support from The Arts in Education / Tralee Education Centre, and the Kerry County Council.

ADULT ART CLASSES

“As a beginner, you’ll discover the joy of acrylic painting in a relaxed, supportive setting. I’ll introduce you to essential materials and techniques, sharing how paint responds to light and shadow, while encouraging confidence and creativity. Each class offers not only a fun social outlet but also the reward of leaving with your own completed artwork. With small group sizes, the atmosphere stays personal and encouraging. Beyond teaching, I design custom abstract acrylic paintings in collaboration with clients, tailoring size, palette, and mood to create vibrant, contemporary works that reflect both style and emotion.”

KIDS ART CAMPS

“Our kids’ art camps in Killorglin, run with fellow artist Darragh, give children a chance to explore creativity in a fun, supportive environment. Through watercolours, acrylics, mixed media, and murals, kids are encouraged to experiment, play, and express themselves freely. Camps are tailored to different ages and abilities, with a focus on learning through play and discovery. Seeing kids take pride in their creations makes each camp worthwhile, while the friendships, laughter, and colourful memories formed along the way make the experience truly special.”

PRIVATE EVENTS : ‘PAINT AND SIP’

“I offer private bookings for special occasions such as hen parties and birthdays, providing all painting materials and meeting groups at a suitable location. After greeting and setting up, we work step-by-step on a custom painting designed for your event. These sessions are always a hit, offering a creative, social experience where everyone leaves with their own artwork. Beyond parties, I also run small-group classes that provide a relaxed, supportive environment. Each participant enjoys a fun, hands-on session and the satisfaction of taking home a finished painting.”

GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED ART EVENTS

“Over the past few years, I’ve been delighted to take part in socially engaging, public art projects in Killorglin. Highlights include the ‘Misneach Mural’ and ‘Peggy’s Angels’ in Library Place. “Misneach” meaning bravery, offered up a gigantic cubed canvas, displayed in the centre of the town. Peggy’s Angels supplied infinite creative possibilities in the form of two huge eight-foot-tall angel sculptures. Both projects celebrated diversity, creativity and inclusion for all.

More recently, in June 2025, I participated in the Cruinniú Late - Teen event at The Fishery, Killorglin alongside Darragh Kinch & Donal Moroney. These experiences felt so rewarding: watching teens discover artistic expression, supporting their creative energy, and contributing to visible, youth‑centred artworks in the town.
