ART CLASSES FOR ADULTS

As a beginner, you will learn the basics of acrylic painting and work confidently in a relaxed and uninhibited environment. The class will be introduced to the painting materials and techniques used by myself and other professional artists, as well as understand how paint functions in various lights and shadows.
As well as a positive social outlet and fun experience, at the end of each class, you can expect to come away with your very own painting. These art classes run in small groups and allow for a fun, learning environment.

Private Art Events :
I offer private bookings for special occasions such as hen parties and birthdays. Depending on the circumstances, I meet the group at a suitable location, and I also provide all the necessary painting materials. When I arrive on site I meet and greet with the party, set up the area for painting and we can then spend our time working on a custom step-by-step painting for your event/occasion. This is always a hit with my clients, as they not only get to have fun but also get to take home their very own painting.
Fully Trained TAP Artist for Kerry Schools :
Teacher-Artist Partnership (TAP) is a unique Department of Education and Skills initiative for supporting and enhancing arts in education in primary schools. For the last number of years, I have worked on a wide range of TAP and BLAST creative Art projects with a variety of primary and post-primary schools across County Kerry. The program is a fully funded initiative in which participating teachers and artists collaborate and work together in order to deliver a creative school project from start to finish across the academic year. Working with the Education Centre in Tralee, Kerry County Council and privately booked by schools to fullfil these projects.

5. Public Art Events
Over the past couple of years, I’ve been thrilled to take part in some engaging public art projects in Killorglin aimed at teenagers and young people.
Some of the standout projects have been the ‘Misneach Mural’ and ‘Peggy’s Angels’ on Library Place. These bold sculptural murals, painted in collaboration with local youth, celebrate themes of courage and community—“misneach” meaning bravery—and brought many emerging young artists into public art for the first time.
More recently, in June 2025, I participated in the Cruinniú Late - Teen event at The Fishery, Killorglin alongside Darragh Kinch & Donal Moroney. These experiences felt so rewarding: watching teens discover artistic expression, supporting their creative energy, and contributing to visible, youth‑centred artworks in the town.
Our kids’ art camps in Killorglin, run by myself and fellow artist Darragh, are all about creativity, fun, and hands-on exploration. We guide children through a variety of projects—from watercolours and acrylic painting to mixed media and collaborative murals—encouraging imagination and self-expression in a relaxed, supportive space. Each camp is designed to suit different age groups and abilities, with a focus on learning through play and experimentation. We love seeing the pride in kids’ faces as they create something uniquely their own. These camps have become a joyful summer tradition, filled with colour, laughter, and artistic discovery in Killorglin.
