New year 2020

2020 is here and I am starting to make the plans for the year, I had hoped to get an exhibition together in 2019 but with starting out a new business on my own it was all down to timing that this didn’t happen. So it is back to the drawing board now and making sure I find time and make that time for creating some work that means something for myself. This could come in a few different forms, as of yet, this hasn’t been completely decided. A sculptural element might be a nice way to start so […]

Boats at Ross Castle

This is a series based on the beautiful boats at Ross Castle, I have always loved these and have taken so many photos on my phone over the years. This is a collaboration of all of those images. The impressionistic style is to allow the viewer the same feeling of calm and charming appeal of the real time view of these boats in their dock. RL “Boats at Ross Castle”2.5ft x 2ftAcrylic on hand-stretched Canvas€850.00 “Boa […]

Killarney Display

Some of my new work will now be on display at the Holiday  Inn Killarney on the Muckross Road. They have offered me the lovely space in their hotel lobby to display and sell some of my work. As it is in Killarney, it was only right to focus on a few interesting shop, hostel & pub fronts! I love the quirkiness of some of the streets and buildings in the beautiful tourist filled town of Killarney. These are all framed acrylic works on paper with a textured paint style. I hope to […]
