This a mash up of two of my favourites - Paintings & Jewellery - specifically earrings for the moment. I have found it very therapeutic to create in a different way during this lockdown. Inspired by the current work I am doing for an upcoming exhibition while also inspired by the paint palettes themselves that I use on a daily basis. Paintings presented in a different way!
More to come...
I have been using this time in lockdown to work on an exhibition of paintings that I have been thinking about for some time. The exhibition will be based around the concept 'Out of Service' which is currently quite fitting in this current situation we have all found ourselves in.
I have been keen on images of empty spaces with graffiti for a long time, it is a recurring visual that spikes my interest. It is also a visual we are now seeing a lot more of as things have been closed down and left empty.
There is a emotional and physical response to emptiness and the spaces when left vacant are sometimes used as a space for creatives to tag and leave their own artistic mark.
Its continuing work in progress with the majority of the inspiring images being of old trains and their stations.
I created a little YouTube channel for some fun Time-lapse video work.

First Paint & Prosecco night hosting at Sol Y Sombra in Killorglin with all profits going to fundraise for KFEST 2020.
I received some amazing feedback from the 30 ladies that joined me on Saturday night. We created a step by step silhouette sunset painting over the course of 3 hours while sipping on prosecco!
Some photos below of the night itself :)
Looking forward to the next one!
2020 is here and I am starting to make the plans for the year, I had hoped to get an exhibition together in 2019 but with starting out a new business on my own it was all down to timing that this didn't happen. So it is back to the drawing board now and making sure I find time and make that time for creating some work that means something for myself.
This could come in a few different forms, as of yet, this hasn't been completely decided. A sculptural element might be a nice way to start something new this year and change the focus of my work.
I have done a little sculptural work previously but not for a long time so I am looking forward to this and seeing how this develops and changes my work.
Happy New Year x
Started a new mural with the kids at Nagle Rice Primary School. A lovely bunch and I am very much looking forward to seeing their ideas come to life!

I started an Art Residency with Castlemaine National School this year, I have been working on a 'Be Kind' Mural Project with children from 1st, 2nd & 3rd class. Its a work in progress over the next while but I have put some images below of what we have so far.
It's really enjoyable work and the children are all so eager and enthusiastic to do the work and learn a little bit about painting outdoors.
This is a series based on the beautiful boats at Ross Castle, I have always loved these and have taken so many photos on my phone over the years. This is a collaboration of all of those images. The impressionistic style is to allow the viewer the same feeling of calm and charming appeal of the real time view of these boats in their dock.
Some of my new work will now be on display at the Holiday Inn Killarney on the Muckross Road. They have offered me the lovely space in their hotel lobby to display and sell some of my work.
As it is in Killarney, it was only right to focus on a few interesting shop, hostel & pub fronts! I love the quirkiness of some of the streets and buildings in the beautiful tourist filled town of Killarney. These are all framed acrylic works on paper with a textured paint style.
I hope to get some more of this style into a couple more places in Killarney as soon as possible.
These are all for sale and if you anyone is interested please just pop me a message for pricing and details :)
Killorglin hosts one of the oldest festivals in Ireland called Puck Fair, I set up a little pop-up here last year but decided to just enjoy the festivities this year!
I did a few of my own representations of the festival, here are some images of the works below.
